Halloween is our favorite time of year. We love all things creepy, scary, and enchanted! Most importantly, WE LOVE COSTUMES! That’s why we decided to enter one of the many costume contests happening around the valley. We used 300 balloons, and created this day of the dead balloon costume for the Linq!

Ah the Linq. One of the few places on the strip where you may actually find a local…who’s not at work! We made a 9 foot tall sugar skull balloon costume, rounded up a cheering section, and made our way down to the promenade. There were some really impressive costumes there. We saw everything from transformers, to giant fairies, sexy kittens, to undead princesses. We even saw the cast of Game of Thrones with actual direwolves. Okay, they didn’t have actual wolves. It was more like three huskies and a labradoodle, but they were still really cute!

We wanted to make something really fun and colorful, but still creepy, so we decided on the Dia De Los Muertos dress. The costume stood 9 feet tall, and towered over the crowd. Of course we stuffed Tawney (our Goofball and Chief) into the costume to entertain people, and win over the crowd.

We came in second place. Not bad considering we were up against puppies! That dang labradoodle was so freaking cute! Even coming in second, we walked away with a pretty nice cash prize! We also scored some new fans, so I’m pretty sure we’re gonna be Instagram famous! Look out Kardashians!

Thanks to everyone who came out to cheer us on. You are all so wonderful, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has helped our little company succeed. We think you guys are the bee’s knees!
